Students are strongly encouraged to do at least one job shadowing experience during the school year.  Students may use one of their college visit days to job shadow. Job Shadow is an academically motivating activity designed to give students the unique opportunity of an up-close look at the world of work and provide the answer to the commonly asked question, “Why do I have to learn this?” Students can find job shadow opportunities in the community, at their parents’ place of employment, or by stopping in the Guidance Office. The Career Day at BMHS is a good place to make connections for future job shadowing opportunities.
