Megan Kyper Named Head Girls' Tennis Coach

JOHNSTOWN – The Bishop McCort Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Megan Kyper as head girls' tennis coach.

Kyper, a 2002 graduate of Central Cambria High School, joins Bishop McCort's coaching staff after playing four years in high school and one year at Juniata College. Kyper is active in the Greater Johnstown Tennis Associate Summer League as well as the Ebensburg Tennis Center.

Athletic Director Tim Schultz said, "Megan's passion for tennis is evident and we are confident that our student athletes will benefit from her knowledge of the sport."

"It is a great pleasure to take on the girls' tennis head coaching position at Bishop McCort Catholic High School. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with this group," said Kyper.

Kyper holds a Bachelor of Science degree in interior design from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is currently employed at Peoples Nature Gas as part of the engineering and design group. Kyper resides in Ebensburg and enjoys spending time with her five nephews and one niece.
