We were so fortunate to have Dr. D.A. Gardill as both McCort’s assistant and acting principal during her tenure from 2010 through mid-January 2017 when she headed to North Carolina to start a new chapter in her life with her family.  Her ability to show each of us that we were special and to encourage us to reach new heights came straight from her heart.

To reflect Dr. Gardill’s commitment to Bishop McCort and its students, a scholarship fund has been created to benefit students who need financial assistance to attend BMCHS.  Her positive energy, wisdom and passion for education are qualities that will be remembered through this scholarship.  Students and their families, faculty and school administration could always count on finding support when they sought her counsel.
