Bishop McCort, DMCA announce leadership teams

The Bishop McCort Catholic High School Board of Trustees and the Divine Mercy Catholic Academy (DMCA) Board of Directors have announced the selection of their new and respective leadership teams. As partners in the region’s Catholic school community, the teams are working together to provide innovative, consistent and seamless educational experiences for students from Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12. After completing a thorough and months-long search, they have selected Tom Smith, currently principal of DMCA, to serve as the school’s new principal.

Thank you so much for your interest in Student Council! Student Council takes a great deal of time, energy, and dedication. If you are hoping to join Student Council that means that you are willing to make these commitments.

Student Council tries to meet twice a month (tentative and contingent upon Mrs. Largent’s 2019-2020 schedule). Attendance at these meetings is vital as this is when we brainstorm ideas, schedule and plan events, and generally stay in touch with each other.

Pennsylvania TSA Competition

6 of the 8 Bishop McCort Catholic High School and Divine Mercy Catholic Academy TSA students that attended the 2019 PA-TSA Conference placed in the top 10 in Pennsylvania in one or more event. Paige Grove, Mary Smith, Charlize Amper and Ava Mitchell qualified for the 2019 National TSA Conference that will be held at National Harbor in Washington D.C. June 28-July 2nd.
