If you are looking for assistance with this process, Bishop McCort will be hosting a FAFSA COMPLETION WORKSHOP on FEB. 23rd here at BISHOP McCORT.
FAFSA completion workshops are an opportunity for you to fill out your Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) here at Bishop McCort with our representatives from PHEAA and other College Financial Aid professionals. Parents & students are scheduled in small group session to ensure you receive sufficient assistance.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING STEPS TO GET STARTED ON THE FAFSA AND BE READY TO ATTEND THE WORKSHOP.
Students need to create their FSA ID 4 days in advance of the workshop.
Any contributor of information to the FAFSA such as a parent(s) also need to create an FSA ID4 days in advance of the workshop.
Parent(s) that have an FSA ID that they previously used, should log into studentaid.gov/fsa-idas they may need to update their password.
Have Phone & Personal Email Account Ready
Students and parents will need to have access to text messages and personal email accounts. When students and parents use their Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID to log in to the online FAFSA, it will require a two-step verification process. Each time an FSA ID is used to log in, a one-time code is delivered via email, text message, or an authenticator app.
