Constable ('93) to Coach Against his Alma Mater

Joshua Constable (‘93)

Josh was born and raised in Johnstown, PA. He attended Bishop McCort High School and was a two-sport standout for the Crimson Crushers. In 1992, Josh was voted “Simply the Best” Male High School Athlete by the Johnstown Tribune Democrat. In addition, he was chosen to represent the Nittany Region in the Keystone State Games for baseball. Along with this, Josh was selected to play in the 1993 Ken Lantzy’s Finest 40 All-Star Football game.

Following high school, Josh completed his undergraduate degree at East Carolina University (Greenville, NC). He was a recruited member of their well respected and nationally ranked Division I baseball team. Josh was recognized as a Texas Gulf All –Academic Team member for his athletic and academic accomplishments. He also served on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) while playing for the Pirates. Josh continues to have an active role in the game of baseball. He was integral in establishing the Erie Steelheads Baseball organization where he serves as manager of the 10u and 11u teams. Along with this, he has served on various athletic boards including the DuBois Soccer Association, Our Lady of Peace School, and Greater Regional Erie Athletic Training (G.R.E.A.T.), Inc.
 
Currently Josh serves as the Head Coach of Erie Cathedral Prep Baseball Team.
