STUDENT COUNCIL APPLICATIONS!

As a member of Student Council, you are expected to play a significant role in a number of activities and events. Homecoming events, pep-rallies, open house and new student tours, Catholic Schools Week, and Family Christmas Project are just a few of our annual responsibilities. In addition, you are expected to participate in small fundraisers throughout the year, including Crush for your Crusher, candy grams, etc.
There is no minimum GPA requirement to be eligible for Student Council, however as a Student Council member, you should always strive to be in good academic standing; we simply want hardworking students who are dedicated to making Bishop McCort a great place. Although there is no minimum grade requirement, students’ absentee, tardy, and disciplinary records will be taken into consideration.

I thank you in advance for wanting to be involved in Student Council! Bishop McCort is such a fantastic place to go to school and to work. I should know I have done both! If you apply and do not make it onto Student Council for the 2019-2020 school year, please do not let that discourage you from applying in the future! To those of you who are elected to Student Council for the 2019-2020 school year, congratulations in advance and I look forward to working with you!
