COMPARING COLLEGES

It is time to shop for colleges and it is a HUGE decision.  The following resources are good tools to compare colleges and what return you want on this important investment.

PAID SOFTWARD (CollegeAid Pro Software was presented at BMCHS in 2021 by our friend and financial advisor, Michael Labos – Some parents have made this investment and said it is well worth the price)

We also have several copies of the book "The Price You Pay for College" by Ron Lieber, a Personal Finance columnist for the New York Times. These books were donated and recommended by the late and well respected, Dr. William Fritz.  They are a good (and simplified) read for parents who are about to start the process of figuring out financial aid and how to pay for college. We have been gifted enough copies to loan them out to each junior's family for the year. If you would like to check out a copy of the book, you can pick one up in the main office!  Please utilize this book in helping your child and family make informed college financial decisions.  Please remember, these books will be on loan, just like student textbooks, so we can offer this great resource out again in future years.

You can review the book on amazon here: THE PRICE YOU PAY
