hello and welcome to Bishop mccort Catholic High School in Johnstown Pennsylvania we have a lot of exciting things the course of the last year or so with me I have my calling Maria Sanders or admissions director we're going to take you on a quick tour of the score come on Inn Walton Bushnell Cortana at the center of our school of course is our Chapel we are faith-based School the Catholic religion means a lot to our school is the center of our building as you can see here it's listed in the middle or replacing the middle building the center of everything that we do here I'll regarding Faith education and Athletics part of creating a square every student admission for Catholic High School is required to take a religion course as far as that course we have our students attend Mass about once a month on all on all holy days of obligation now you see the center at four of our school that Spade facepiece official court the Catholic faith has thousands of alumni cross this country men did which have had tremendous as you go on your tour official court you'll see photos and images of tremendous athletes that have passed through these Halls of this McCourt but more importantly than the athletes are the people that have a maid impact roster station across this world did you know that we have graduated leaders of Fortune 500 companies world-renowned surgeon kearney's lawyers doctors I mean on and on and on the amount of professionals that have graduated from Bishop mccort that are no not only throughout the country but also across the globe now as you go through the tour going to see more and more about academics and how that is fit into the lives of so many people that have graduated from here are academic standard is second-to-none we have a 100% graduation rate a 100% College placement is amazing can you say that they have a 100% graduation rate simply amazing you take an open mind look at the walls look at the things we have hanging here looked as figures there throughout our school because they make an impact they make an impact and they have a lasting impact on your life is a faith-based school that's high standards and academics and will help you achieve your dream admission choreoathetoid school we have had a strong tradition in the science would approve a strong tradition every year by having our alumni come back into our school and tell us about the experiences of Manhattan College recently I can tell you that we've had students come back and tell us that they're college-level courses have gone very very well for them due to the structure they were given your official court strong Time Crisis here 7 to 12 the general Sciences honors class Sciences AP classes in science and then of course our College in the classroom program for students with a confirm college credit be used whenever they leave here this classroom is our stem lab we've recently built this lap up to three years ago and over the course of that two or three years we've accumulated state-of-the-art technology into the 3D printer laser engraver CNC machine and a vinyl printer in addition to that we also have LEGO Mindstorms for our younger students and is easy peel a corporate video editing into the classroom hello welcome to the bishop mccort Blended Academy classroom the Blended Academy classroom is a relatively New Concept to be or not to be important but I believe to be in Thai state of Pennsylvania because it's a blend of online learning in classroom instruction so the academy is a great option for your child depending on the learning environment welcome to the pit Durango Fitness complex it is here that our students get to workout after school do their routine in regard to their specific. Port city is there working also our gym teacher shows gym classes out here throughout the school day where they are learning to stay fit and stay healthy on a daily basis and throughout their entire life Welcome to the Performing Arts Center it is here that several students started their careers and then went on to perform on Broadway produce movies and we're very highly successful and several other areas of the Performing Arts Bishop mccort requires every student 7 to 12 to take part in one of the performing arts classes here this week or this is more than a few schools in the region that offers Orchestra and music classes for the curriculum in a requirement in addition to the things I just mentioned has had hundreds of plays and musicals take place right here in the Performing Arts Center this aspect of education has what to our students becoming well-rounded individual when they move on to graduation in today's world pandemic education is on the ma the many parents in our region I am proud to say that Bishop mccort has led the way with pandemic education during the pandemic McCourt only missed one day of school and provided quality online couple minutes to Route the summer would work tirelessly to start the school year on time and provide our families with several learning options we are now offering cartridges in person learning model that is always been the Mainstay of this McCourt we have the bishop mccort Blended Academy which is a blend of online learning and in-person learning we have pool online instruct and now we have zoom synchronous learning model that our students have taken advantage of throughout the school year and have had a lot of success in our classroom is doing on many people's mind in our region our families have the ability to to send their child to school one day or learn online the next day without missing a beat or students have the ability to I'm into alive classroom with their peers and not miss any class sessions from their home I believe that this is the only School in the region that offers that opportunity Bishop mccort has missed several days of school throughout the pandemic running through January we've been in class in person 84% of the time which I believe is the most of the region do Touareg facial response to the pandemic or student enrollment numbers continue to grow there's something special happening at 25 Osborne Street welcome to the bishop mccort Athletic Center participate in basketball volleyball and wrestling it is here where they just play tremendous amount of passion for our cool all the Blood Sweat and Tears of the work they put in on you is gun right here as we move this direction we're going toward where our school student body is house the Crimson crazies our house here for athletic four kids come together to share not take your time but they're creativities to be great fishing report fan and be a part of that tremendous fan base that we have here official for high school welcome to senior Hall Criminal Court high school so it all comes down to this all of your hard work commitment and dedication to our school final chapter in high school career of a Crusher 50 blockers to talk he would tell you all the wonderful thing that in the wife of a Crusher have been done it for school it all happens here at Bishop mccort High School your senior year for your dream comes true of going to the College of your dream and Bishop mccort High School senior Hall where your dreams come true no the doctor's appointment of the students graduated Commission report high school then walk right through that door receive millions of dollars in college tuition million-dollar Starship imagine the amount of money that you can get for your child to go to college hope you enjoyed your tour to help it along the way you caught the spirit of what a Catholic Education can do for you here official McCourt High School
